Create a WordPress Template

Project Title: Customize a pre-purchased WordPress site/theme and build custom back-end functionality for Real Estate Agent Website Project Overview: This will be a real estate website for an individual agent that will feature new and past sold properties (gallery style with photos, description, status of each) plus information about the agent/company on additional pages. The site must be able to be updated regularly by a non-technical person, so clean and simple (minimal steps) back-end is important. Whole site will include: Splash page with rotating banner, gallery, blog/news pulling from FB business page, a variety of informational pages, and contact page. The current website at the link below has most, but not all, of the features we want. Important Notes: -The current website has over 100+ properties entered, ideally someone can take these entries and port them over to a new website (or modify existing website) -- otherwise all the property entries (photos, description, details) will have to be manually entered into the new site. We can have someone on our team manually enter but would be ideal if this step could be automated. - Each of these properties must be able to be ordered as follows: "Active Listings" first, "In Escrow" second, "Sold" third. Ordered by highest-lowest price. We can provide an example of this on the current site (but had to remove from this post because we were getting spam). - Once this website is complete, we'd like to have a 2nd, nearly identical site created for his business partner. Is there an easy way to have a property added in one site be uploaded to two or more sites? (multiple sites pull from one database) Not necessary now but if the site could be constructed to allow for this that would be a bonus. Skills/Experience required: -Knowledge of responsive grids is a must, site is demonstrated on ipad in meetings. Ability to take a sliced up photoshop mockup and bring it to life is a plus, we can provide some graphics and photos as needed. -Wordpress/PHP developer (full-stack a plus) who can create customized back-end functionality. (current site is wordpress hosted with Godaddy) -We expect clean-code, best practices, that can be easily followed for future development/fixes by you or someone else. -Experience with complex user interfaces (ad management, account management…) is a plus. More on project: 1. Purpose of the website and how we use it: These are basically used to impress new potential clients and appease current clients who have their houses on the market with us. We also send out email blasts and link to certain pages or blog posts at times. When we list a new property we put it on the website immediately. During the busy season we will sometimes put up 1-2 properties a week. The fewer steps the better, and the less technical the better (so that other less technical people on the team can update if need be). 2. Rotating Banner: We will need to update this banner periodically (if we have a big listing we want to show off for example). I would prefer to use Slider Revolution since I am somewhat familiar with this. We may also want to incorporate video slides, this seems to be more and more popular now, I know slider rev has this capability. 3. As an example of what we like: Our most updated site is below.
