Edit Wordpress website (to be done in 3-4 days)

We have a wordpress website under development for online pooja booking services. The website targets to allow visitors to book pooja, buy pooja related products, and book astrology consultation.

The older version of the website in already hosted at www.poojakarao.com. Later we decided to migrate this to Wordpress for easy editing.

The website work has already been started in Wordpress and I can provide you the existing code.

Minor edits to the UI are required:

1. The header has three rows and takes to much space. This needs to be reduced to two, content needs re-arrangement. (Refer screenshot [login to view URL])

2. Footer: background image needs to be changed, the layout of the links to be made better and icons of the blog to be removed.

3. Upcoming activities and events need change. This needs to be in the form of a marquee. Refer the existing website [login to view URL] (Scrolling marquee under "Upcoming events").

4. Image slider should be only on home page. Currently, it appears on each page.

5. Book a pooja page: These are like services for which visitor needs to pay through a payment gateway. Make title larger, add a minor description below it, add Read More button and Add to Cart button.

6. Add a form for collecting user on checkout. We need to collect 4-5 fields of information to be collected which shall be accessible later from admin panel as well as to be sent on given email id. This is not related to the user profile, this information needs to be collected on each checkout.

7. Shop: This link will also have products. Add to cart and checkout. The form as described in the previous point needs to be added.

8. Astrology: Same as "book a pooja" page, but the form will be different.

I will prefer if you can edit the existing wordpress code a per needs but if you can provide complete website from the scratch, I am open to it but the colour scheme should not vary much. Apart from this images play an important role in this website so your template should support the same.

Please send me your proposals accordingly. Timeline is a bit tight on this. If you need more details for clarity, ask your specific points in your proposal. We can discuss on the same.

Milestone 1:

Step 1: Template Change
Demo of template should be discussed before starting work on it. Acceptance will be given from my end.
Create Skeleton and Structure as of existing website

Take content from these. We will provide as images required and requested

Step 2: Landing Page to be edited.
Header to be reduced by one row. Upcoming events UI to be same as live website (scrolling marquee with event name and date). Add FB, instragram plug-in for displaying social media content on website, background image to be changed in footer, minor layout changes in footer, other section of home page to be done as discussed.

Step 3: Join Us
Join Us: Display Membership form (Format shared, keep as similar as possible) and collect data. Send on email of admin.
Donate: Enter details, redirect to Payment Gateway, send email to admin and thanks certificate to donor.

Step 4: Book a Pooja
There are different sub-types in any given pooja (like express, special, general etc. in a dropdown) which should be editable from admin panel. Each sub-type has different fee. As soon as you click Book Now button, a modal popup with form to be displayed. Form fields should be editable from admin panel. After submitting the form this form data should go to email id of admin. Then collect billing information and redirect to payment gateway.

Step 5: Shop
Create categories and products products from admin panel. Categories will be like pooja samagri, pooja kit, yantra, prasadam etc. Add to Cart and redirect to payment gateway.

Step 6: Checkout Cart
After successful response from payment gateway, Send invoice mail to customer and order mail to admin. Send a Thank you mail as well to the customer after buying. In case of failure, display proper error message on website with link to return to book a pooja page. Also generate an error email to customer as well as admin.



Milestone 2:

1) Astrology: Single page with 2 column grid displaying different services (for design, refer book a pooja page on poojakarao.com which has 3 column grid) On clicking book now button, display modal popup with form for data capturing and send confirmation mail (form structure and mail content to be configurable from admin panel).

2) Gallery: Separated into different albums, image caption should be there.

3) Blog

4) Contact Us page with inquiry form, address and Google map of two offices



General:
1) Admin Panel for managing content, section and images.
2) Website must be mobile responsive.
