Help with Google shopping script on website

My clients site is a custom coded php/mysql site with a product database and product pages that show the product detail and price...They need a feed setup to add these products to a Google shopping account so they appear in Google shopping. From what I have read there needs to be a XML file created and a cron job to submit every day so that new products are added when ADMINs add them to the CMS. Client already has AdWords account and Google Merchant Center. We already have a script running that creates an XML file with product URLS that goes to Google Webmasters tools sitemap...so maybe that can be helpful? So basically need someone to come along who has done this before and finish this job and get the products showing in Google Shopping. Only bid if you are experienced with this type of job before.
