The draft plan for signup process is the following:
- Log in with API credentials.
- Keep the session open for all further requests for this user.
- Customer fills the required information (e.g. first name, last name, address etc.).
- Customer fetches DID numbers via API from VoIP Innovations (e.g. send API request to TeliCore to fetch
rate centers/numbers from VoIP Innovations).
- Customer fills in credit card information.
- The signup form sends a request to create a customer (with the needed customer class, billing period, language,
timezone, etc).
- The signup form sends a payment request (if it fails, we should remove customer and stop further actions).
- The signup form sends a request to order the requested DID number (if it fails, stop further actions).
- The signup form sends a request to create the account with ID equal to the DID number (account should have the corresponding product e.g. PayAsYouGo or Unlimited).
- Customer sees the resulting page with all the needed information.
We would recommend to discuss the above steps one by one and start with a simple login to obtain a session ID.
Which web services access protocol you plan to use for the signup form: SOAP or REST?
After this has been accomplished a one or two hour recorded Training Session CAN be scheduled , with Telinta, if necessary.
