Javascript/AJAX Enhancement

I have a Joomla component I've worked on for my Real Estate clients. I had someone write javascript to load all the records, so filters are more dynamic instead of frequent page reloads. The javascript works nicely, if there are a low number of records. With a larger number of records, the code takes a long time to load. Part of the problem is that it's processing around 175MB of data, including images. I've looked at adding a lazy loader, but either I'm not doing something right, or the lazy loader is conflicting with the javascript, as instead of 5 listings per page, it loads only 1. I had someone add some AJAX to improve the performance. The AJAX that was written works, but can't be reused in other views. The developer added it to a single view, but there are, roughly, 11 other views that need this. All the views use, for the most part, the same fields.
