1. REDESIGN OF EXISTING WEBSITE [login to view URL] Requirements • Redesign of website by web designer based on existing brand guidelines, including sourcing of appropriate photos, to achieve an efficient, clean and professional look and improve brand awareness o Keywords: clean, airy, white, fresh, safe, easy, trendy (think Apple Store vs. PC World) • Website to be fully responsive, SEO and UX optimised • Need for CMS as we will be updating content on an on-going basis (price list, blog) What We Have Already • Established brand identity / brand guidelines (logo, colours, icon vectors etc.) • Website architecture (should remain identical to what currently exists) • A lot of the copy writing can remain the same as what we already have • Domain name • Hosting • e-mail service 2. INTEGRATION OF A NEW BOOKING ENGINE Requirements Customers to be able to schedule the collection and delivery of their dry-cleaning and laundry via BLANC online booking engine (much like Ocado) – this means: • selecting time for pick-up and delivery • selecting all items to be collected and cleaned with a certain degree of precision (large yet simple clothes choice list) • being able to communicate with BLANC about specific requirements (stubborn stain here, trousers ironed with crease etc.) • being able to check work progress (clothes have arrived, undergoing treatment at BLANC etc.) • receiving communication back from BLANC (pop-up message or email) when questions or problems arise • paying online The booking engine will need to work in conjunction with / be fully integrated into our current backend POS: SPOT. SPOT is a till system used by most drycleaners which manages orders, money, deliveries and is basically the brain behind the logistics of BLANC. The website will need to be able to send and receive information to and from SPOT, with SPOT remaining “in charge” of all data processing.
