Hi everybody. We have a daily deal website and we need to add some modifications and make some changes on it.
I want to give you the information about the script briefly :
Website works on LAMP (Linux, Apache, mySQL and PHP) stack.
For this system, it is preferred custom development over any opensource system.
The reason is: custom development will be open for further enhancements and also in case of opensource, if any hack for the version which is installed is found and made public - it may result in very bad impact on the image of a reputed company like you.
Generally script is developed with
1. Codeigniter (opensource php framework),
2. Our own inhouse developed framework and
3. sometimes with core php.
The decision depends on requirements and project to project. For this system we would prefer using our own developed framework.
Our framework is a very lightweight and customizable. It also follows complete MVC Architecture, but does not impose it. It depends on developers how they want to use it. It also support client side scripting i.e. javascript and ajax and for client side scripting it uses jQuery at the core.
For this particular project, we recommend going for custom development keeping in mind the future expansion possibilities/plans.
For inhouse framework which is mentioned above we have full library documentation which I have added as an attachment , please check. I am also adding the DOCUMENTATION where you can find all the changes. Please check that documentation and come to me with your final decision (In how many days you can complete, and what will the FIXED price) .. In the documentation you can find
the pictures where you can find the front end changes with pictures. ( mostly design changes). Main functional changes are mentioned in WORD document. Please make sure that we are not going to work in an hourly basis we gonna work as a FIXED price.
Everything you need is attached PLEASE don't write without checking.
