Optimize My Wordpress Website + SSL Advice

I need my website speed optimized. There are specific things that several of speed testing websites recommend. I need them to be optimized and tailored to my site, not just quick shortcuts. I’ve listed the specific tasks below and need each of them completed to the highest degree possible. Any other optimization techniques would be great as well.
⁃ Optimize images - this causes the biggest lag on my website.
⁃ Make fewer HTTP requests - I have about 167, double the normal amount
⁃ Add expires header
⁃ Compress components with gzip
⁃ Reduce number of DOM elements

I also need a few questions answered on the following subjects related to my page speed. Please let me know how much each of these tasks would cost as well.
⁃ Using the sumo plugin that signs of email subscribers slows my page load time with java and http requests. If I remove it and replace it with a mailchimp pop up to sign up email subscribers instead, would my page load time be quicker?
⁃ I recently added a CDN from Stackpath to my website to speed up the page loading speed. The CDN also includes a free SSL certificate but I have already previously bought an SSL certificate for my site that was installed on the domain customdispensaryproducts.com. I uploaded my original SSL to the CDN but it seems like sometimes the site loads slower, in excess of 30 seconds (see google insights and pingdom results). My question is:
⁃ Was if the SSL was uploaded incorrectly, or
⁃ Would it be faster to use the free SSL from my CDN provider?
