Beside I have been working as IT engineer since the very start of the internet, back in 1995 when I worked managing the small team that developed the first "internet portal" of Telefónica: TeleLine. After working on the TeleLine project, I had the opportunity to work with payment gateways in the same context: as an employee of Netscape, I developed for Telefónica the first Spanish intenet payment gateway, using PRICE, the Spanish implementation of the ISO8583 protocol used by SEMP (Sociedad Española de Medios de Pago). It was implemented in C language, and I was the only developer in that project.
