Upgrade a Magento 1.8 Website into M2 and create a mirror secondary website

[login to view URL] and [login to view URL] WEBSITE UPGRADE BRIEF Background: In 2015 I subscribed to an e-commerce platform called ShopGo who offered a magento 1.x CE solution. They were Magento developers who created some custom made shipping and other extentions on my website. Since 2016 I walked away and have now my own hosting using the last version they did in 2016. My current website is [login to view URL] and is currently at version 1.8 ShopGo is affiliated with Aramex, which is the major shipping solutions provider in the Middle East, and they developed their shipping extensions along with a host of core modifications and other supporting extensions. It is CRITICAL that Aramex shipping (the new Magento 2 version) works with my website as they are the main shipping service provider for our website, along with DHL. This will involve some under the hood tweaking to migrate the current 1.8.x code to M2) The Plan: 1- Install a new Magento 2.X website for my new secondary domain [login to view URL] on a separate server (due to PHP compatibility issues) under a new, fresh and modern looking theme that is SEO optimized. The theme will be purchased by us based on your recommendations on a suitable theme, or if you already have one you can use that is approved by us. 2- Copy all [login to view URL] website data (categories, attributes, extensions, products …etc) into the new testing and development website [login to view URL] 3- Do all necessary upgrades, extensions integrations, testing …etc to ensure that [login to view URL] is fully operational and functional 4- Copy back [login to view URL] into [login to view URL] and again make sure website is fully operational. 5- The result is that I will have both domains working as fully functional M2 ecommerce websites. Detailed Tasks List My current website [login to view URL] is in Magento 1.8 I need it upgraded under a new theme to Magento 2 . It has a number of critical custom built shipping extensions that I do not have credentials for but need to keep. I have a older version of these extensions from Github. But I expect some under the hood work to make sure these work 100% under the new magento. Additionally I need ALL the products, categories and product settings/variations to be transported successfully. The extensions in particular are Aramex (shipping company related) due to close integration with their services. The previous developer did some tweaking in core modules. The finished website needs to be a fully functional, fully designed and SEO optimized and fully responsive. It needs to show up well in Google with sections of website in search results (Optimized with Google Tag Manager) and rank well for the supplied keywords. I will share some SEO audit reports to point out the fixes that need to be done in due course) Targeted keywords will be shared as well. Will give access to back end in due course.
