USC Football Score Predictor

Our blog site is an American College Football blog. We have clients who want to be able to predict the final score of each weeks games. Games are held on Thursday, Friday or Saturdays typically. They will occur either on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. The fans of USC24x7 would like to predict their weekly scores. We want to provide (inside our Forum Section) a special Forum called “Predict The Score”. The users having been registered and verified will keep a Tally of their wins and losses and the winner at the end of the year will be presented with a Prize. There needs to be a Weekly Standings based on previous wins/losses for the participants. Will need a report on the current weeks final statistics and a report to present prior to the game time on the picks that are locked in. Users should be able to change their guesses up to 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Step One User Registers in the Forum Area Must be spam proof and with OPT In 
Admin Dashboard for me to enter the names of the schools that USC is playing that week and who is the Home Team and who is the Visiting Team. Users should be presented with a form that simply shows the following: Home Team: USC Visiting Team: UCLA USC Predicted Score: 30 UCLA Predicted Score: 10 The winning player is tabulated based on the closest to the actual final score. Example: Player One Predicts: USC 10 vs UCLA 0 Player Two Predicts: USC 20 vs UCLA 10 Actual Final Score: USC 30 vs UCLA 10 Player One: USC scored a -20 and on his UCLA Score had -10 Total: -30 Player Two: USC scored a -10 and on his UCLA Score had 0 (Perfect) Total: -10 In this example, the winner is Player Two as they were closest to Zero. Reports: 30 Minute Report: 30 minutes prior to the game each week we publish the predictions of everyone. Prior to that no one can see another players predictions Weekly Final Player Prediction Results: That weeks results Season Standings: Taking all games in to account the total aggregate score of each player (See below). Player Season Standings: Player One: Game 1 = 0 Game 2 = -40 Game 3 = -10 Game 4 = 0 So player One had two perfect weeks (0 scores). But through four games his total score is -50. Player Two: Game 1 = -5 Game 2 = -10 Game 3 = 0 Game 4 = -20 So player Two had one perfect game and an aggregate score of -35 So the Standings after 4 weeks would show: Player Two First Place with -35 Player One Second Place with -50 Steve
