Python scrapy will the ideal crawler for this purpose. I didn't notice any dyanmic xhr-fetched content but in case, such content is present then phantomjs based approach might be better suited for the job. Ideally it'll be run with a setup of proxies to avoid IP bans and throttling be setup to avoid any trouble to the server. Hello friend, I'm a scraping expert, I have scraped listing sites before, after looking at your site I see it asks you for login to see pictures and I also see it is not necessary as all the info is already there. The approach I would want to take is to make a scraper using the scrapy framework in python. I see the sitemap has all the info you need, so I would write a scraper to scrap each individual page from the html into key/value pairs. The output can be xml if that's what you need, I would prefer JSON though, it doesn't change much of my workflow as the only thing that would change would be switching the "exporter". Now for constantly looking for changes the sitemap already gives you info about the last modification date, so, I could store that value and make sure it only visits the page again if the data has changed. The output is up to you, it could be the delta and only include the listings that changed, or it could include everything again from cache.
