We have a custom wordpress plugin that takes posts from my blog and posts it to our facebook page. We would like to change this. I would like post to another new facebook page and then run a cron to embed the post from that new FB page on to the old page. We need to run a cron on the server to see if there is a new post on the new page, and if there is, then embed it to the old facebook page.

You do not need to do it on your server. I know one of website which will do it for you. Either you want to share facebook photo or post. I can do configure for you.. And this website is totally free because its a open source...
