We need a custom WordPress plugin that would act as a "beacon image" or "tracking pixel" that we could embed into other websites, post listings and so forth. We could use this "beacon image" or "tracking pixel" to gather user data and behavior and hopefully also integrate Google Analytics with it. How it would work is: #1 Site admin would make a new post (custom post type) within the WordPress site. Post name might be something like "QQ6FG27". We then could use a 1*1 pixel image to embed into another page or post listing on another site that would look something like: <img src="[login to view URL]"> This way the system knows what post to apply the traffic data to. Also: • Google Analytics : We would like to use this service to gather feedback about the audience and their clicks through our pages. If we can show these details on the WordPress post when admin is logged in and viewing would be great. • [login to view URL] : We like how this service can provide an image to display on a page of where your page views are from. We would like to be able to do something like: <img src="[login to view URL]"> and it would show am image like this service does on the page we have it embedded. We have a system currently that is extremely old, and would like something more modern, secure and mobile friendly to use.
