Technical assistance required for a number of specific tasks related to a Wordpress website and related items. Most of these items are small and quick tasks in themselves. I have separated them into First Group of Initiatives and Second Group with the aim that the first group should be completed asap.

First Group of Actions

1. Site Optimisation.

For a Wordpress site I need implementation of various initiatives to improve site loading speed. This includes

- Configuring browser cacheing to optimise

- Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content

- Minify HTML, CSS and Javascript

- There are some images that require optimising

- Investigate reasons for slow server response time and implement solutions as required

2. Check site settings to ensure optimisation

- I would like the main site settings plus settings on key plugins (WP SEO by Yoast, iThemes Security etc) reviewed to ensure these are configured correctly

3. SSL and Redirects

- The site has a SSL so is https:// however I need this to be checked to ensure it is configured and operating correctly, and everything is correctly configured to capture traffic using the http, https and naked domain URL’s.

4. RSS Setup and Configuration

- I need my RSS setup to be checked, and reconfigured if necessary

Second Group of Actions

5. Site Consolidation.

Several old sites - one in Joomla and two in WordPress - have been replaced with a new Wordpress site but the old sites still exist with 301 redirects to the new site. I would like to rationalise this to the greatest extent possible to optimise search engine results, overcome the occasional issue of circular redirects, optimise loading speed, etc.

6. Google Analytics rationalisation.

A continuation of the previous point I still have separate Google Analytics codes and separate Google Webmaster Tools sites for each of the old websites plus the new site, and I need these brought together and correctly configured.

In addition in Google Analytics I want to set up the tracking of remarketing plus the tracking of some specific landing and sales pages.

7. Simple CSS Adjustments.

In 2-3 instances where Tables (Tablepress plugin) and forms (Gravity Forms) are embedded some blank spaces have appeared and this requires some very basic and simple editing of the relevant CSS.
