Write a WordPress Plugin to interact with the Yahoo Auctions API

My project involves the following key objectives:
- Pull search results for a users search term from the Yahoo Auctions site ([url removed, login to view]) translating the results and separating key pieces of information such as prices and images
- Search results should display in a table/grid layout at first with Title/ImageName/Price where the user can click through to the full page for each product with the full Yahoo Auction product description and additional images if supplied.
- Provide an estimated landed cost by taking the yahoo auction bid, converting to AUD and adding a predetermined markup (could be a set value or a percentage)
- Provide a button/form to the user to request a final price which will email off the users details with the yahoo auction info to the site administrator
