D&I Research/Benchmark report – Sustainability and supplier diversity program market practice

What: I&D Benchmark report – sustainability and supplier diversity program Deadline: 10-15 days Description: As a multinational company, Philip Morris International takes Sustainability as cornerstone of its business strategy. As part of that strategy, we have put gender equality at the top of our priority list. We want to use the position that Philip Morris has in the corporate world to work with suppliers who practice gender equality like we do. The United Nations’ Women Empowerment Principles are our guide on that journey. To further guide us, we would like to understand how other category leaders, like Unilever Nestle Johnson & Johnson British American Tobacco Schneider Electronics L’Oréal Roche PepsiCo Mondelez Act on the principles of women empowerment with special focus on Principle 5: enterprise development, supply chain and marketing practices and Principle 6: community initiatives and advocacy (including their reporting on WEP KPI’s on their WEPs company profile) and what is their corporate commitment (vision) to gender equality according to the principles. Their practices will show in their sustainability reports, the UN WEP, but also in their purchasing and sourcing principles and their own Gender Equality reports. We would like to learn from the other companies, so we can make an informed decision on what practices to adopt and what standards to aspire to. To that end, we would like to have an easy to read report that shows with graphics who adheres to what standard, how they are implemented and where did they implement the principles (global or country list. Eg BAT Uganda), when did they adhere and any information about their roadmap since then. The document should have no more than 20 pages. The format should be in word/ppt (to be discussed with consultant e.g. McKinsey report) and all findings should be referenced with hyperlinks or data source.
