We requires an api or plugin for autodesk inventor that allows the selection of points on a cloud of 3D points and with this selection calculate the line that goes through the center of this set of points (cylinder of point cloud) . As an example, the application of this plugins would allow to obtain the central axis of a 3d scan of a pipe line, as seen in the attached images.
