NEW DOUBLE ELIMINATION BRACKET

I am looking for a programmer who has and, who can design a new type of DOUBLE ELIMINATION BRACKET that can be used on a computer screen. There are hundreds or thousands of people that can use this new bracket system in sport tournaments.

FORMAT FOR NEW COMPUTER PROGRAM:

As is current being used in the SINGLE ELIMINATION BRACKET SYSTEM.(S E B S), The Director enters each player’s name into the system. I will use a sample of 21 PLAYERS for this example.

The computer then randomly picks each players opponent. If there is an odd number of players as there would be in my sample of 21 players, ONE PLAYER will have a “BYE” for that round. (basically, a win, not a loss)

The 10 games are then played using the opponents picked by the computer. As each game is concluded, the Director will enter the winners name into the computer as is now being used in the (S E B S). Using that information, the computer will RECORD THE LOSER of each game.

After that round has completed, the computer will AGAIN randomly pick each players opponent (21 players) for the SECOND ROUND.

NOTE 1: The computer will NOT allow any two players to play the same opponent in this second round.

NOTE 2: The computer will not allow the same player to have the “BYE”. in this round.

The 10 games are then played in this second round using the opponents picked by the computer. As each game is concluded, the Director will enter the winners name into the computer. Using that information, the computer will RECORD THE LOSER of each game. The computer, using this information from both rounds, will then determine which players have had two losses. Those players with two losses will NOT BE INCLUDED in the third round.

Round three will include all players without two losses. Let us say that five(5) players had two losses leaving 16 remaining players. The computer will then create a bracket showing the eight(8) games with randomly chosen opponents.

As each game is concluded in this third round, the Director will enter the winners name into the computer. Using that information, the computer will RECORD THE LOSER of each game. The computer, using this information from this round, will then determine which players have had two losses. Those players with two losses will NOT BE INCLUDED in the forth round.

This process, as dictated above, will continue until all players except one has two losses and a winner is determined.

This NEW DOUBLE ELIMINATION BRACKET SYSTEM will be fair to ALL players. ALL players play the same number of games until eliminated.
