Electricity Generation while consuming it

My project is basically to generate electricity while we consume it..so while we use a fan or a rotating machine we can attach a Dynamo to a part of that fan we can actually generate electricity .the only problem is that the machine we make won't be 100% efficient .my plan is to make such a machine where we can generate electricity while consuming it so that there is least wastage of energy and we can save our money as well as energy . This can be thus used to light bulbs during power failure .
