Hi everyone,
I am working on a little project and I need to refit the code I have so it does the exact same thing as before but does not have a conformity issue with the svd command. Basically, the code works with a dataset (age groups in 5 year intervals) where in the matrix m>n, but I need to re-fit it to the same dataset with age groups intervals of year by yeay - which creates svd conformity issues.
I have looked up some things but couldn't find a way to do it so far.
Attached is:
The code with the original 5x1 data
The new data of 1x1 where I am trying to get the code working.
Have a look at the code and run it through the old data and then the new, you'll see the error coming up.
I basically need everything to do the same and that the code returns b and k because I need these for further calculations.
Thanks :)
i have keenly check on your do-file and both data set . from my experience in data analysis with STATA and and R i can confidently help you finish you project.
