Create shell script to extract & download latest files from websites

Hello, Looks like you cannot do that with shell script. You can use wget and curl with end points to download files from website. But you cannot do a comparison of the latest file. To do a comparison and extract the file, then you need to do a ssh login to server first. Another option is download file from website an d then do a comparison of the timestamp. Thank You

If the files are big, only changes can be downloaded. Being a Infrastructure engineer I do this kind of work everyday in my day job. multiple ways to get it done 1) read rss feed for updates (if available) annd download only new files. 2) keep track of all file url locally so that it can identified that which are the new file to download 3) or file's name or it attributes are provided in way that new files can be identified to download.
