My schooling has been from missionary schools. I have studied in Convent School in Faisalabad, St, Anthony’s high School Lahore and Sacred Heart Cathedral School Lahore. I have also studied in Gordon College Rawalpindi.
Right from the start of my schooling, I was found of writing, especially Essays, Small Stories and Articles. In school I have always studied Advance English as a subject.
During my service in the Army, I remained on duties, in which I had to write Lesson Plans, Instructions, Presentations, Demonstrations, Research Papers, Analysis, Standing Operating Procedures, Book Reviews and Essays.
I have written a true experience of facing death when I was a member of a Mountaineering Expedition in Karakoram Mountains. (Not yet published)

PASSU GLACIER
Karakoram Mountain Ranges located in Pakistan are the most famous mountain ranges in the world. The Karakoram Ranges have many mountains/ peaks which are among the highest in the world. Mountains/peaks in the Karakoram and the Himalayas Mountains have five of the world’s highest peaks, with heights of over 8000 meters. K-2 Mountain is the second highest mountain in the world. These ranges are situated on the northern side of Pakistan and extend up to China. The Ninth Wonder of the World, the Karakoram Highway, the world’s highest Highway, commonly known as the KKH or the Silk Route, runs along the Karakoram Range from China to Pakistan. It originates from the China’s Province of Xinjiang, enters Pakistan at Khunjrab Top near the small town called Sust. Here the height of the highway is more than 15000 feet/ 4693 meters (The highest in the world). It passes through the new Province of Pakistan namely Gilgit –Baltistan goes to Passu to Hunza (along the Hunza River) to Gilgit the capital of Gilgit- Baltistan, runs along the Indus River up to Thakot, enters the Province of Paktun-Khawa at Manshera goes to Abbotbad and ends at Hasanabdal near Rawalpindi. The Pakistani portion of the KKH is approximately 800 Km, whereas the total length is more than 1200 Km.
Karakoram Mountain Ranges have some of the famous and the longest glaciers in the world. The most famous of all is the Sachien Glacier the highest battle ground in the world, with posts being manned by troops of both India and Pakistan of heights of over 20,000 feet. Other famous glacier are the Godwin Austin glacier originating from the K-2 Mountain and the famous Baltoro glacier, the Gulkin glacier, the Khunjrab glacier the Passu glacier and the 5th longest glacier in world 60 km long, the Batura glacier.
This region of Pakistan is a great attraction for the tourists from all over the world and is a dream destination for the Mountaineering Expeditions who want to climb and conquer the mountains peaks. My story is also part of an experience of going with a mountaineering expedition to conquer the famous Shispare Peak located along the KKH near the Passu village.
