CAD is something I honestly don't have a ton of experience with, but I have an engineering background, use schematics regularly, and build to precise specifications. I normally work in 3DS Max. However I work in precise engineering methods frequently. We could definitely do what you need done, and I can quickly learn AutoCAD for this project, it wouldn't be difficult.
