I am Dr. Deepak and I was awarded a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, from the Gyeongsang National University, South Korea in 2015 for research in the field of multiscale computational mechanics. This research was funded through a scholarship I was awarded by Brain Korea 21, a Ministry of Science and Technology scheme that funds research-based graduate students to work with designated professors. In 2010, I received a First Class with distinction Master’s Degree in Computer Aided Analysis and Design from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi (with a final CGPA of 8.63/10). I was placed first in my class of 6 students and placed among the top ten graduates in all of the university's masters courses (approximately 100 students). Admission to the course was based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Score (conducted by IITs/IISc) and based on the results of this test I was awarded a scholarship through the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, India. Prior to this, I was awarded a First Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal (with a final CGPA of 7.52/10).
