We are start up company looking for a freelance commercial/retail product designer that can help us develop and create a automotive accessory product. The designer must be able to provide 3D drawings, dimensions and advise on construction. We are looking for a designer to design the product, from drawings to detailed drawings ready for the manufacturer. Applicants must have some sort of design related background and possess the following skills: creativity and a love of design problem-solving skills a sound knowledge of maths and physics strong communication skills practical skills and technical ability the ability to interpret and analyse data. In addition, applicants must be able to produce 3D CADs design and provide a portfolio; it would also be advantageous, if applicants owns a 3D printer and/or understands how to work on one. We will be selecting a designer to work on this initial project. Once the designer is selected, we will provide further instructions of the project and supporting documents. When the project is finished, if all things goes smoothly from design to manufacture to market, then we may seek for the project to be on-going. Project length is approximately 2 weeks. We would like to see your portfolio.
