A / B testing - Tips
The A / B testing is one of the most effective ways to optimize our ecosystem. However it is still underutilized. We often feel that doing an A / B test is complex, but make no mistake. It's easier than you think and profits are enormous. Try it once and you won’t ever be able to do without it.
Here are some tips from my past experiences:
1. Do not limit yourself to test your Web environment
We think about it less often, but the A / B test applies to all facets of our ecosystem: Website, mobile site, promotional emails, advertising campaigns, mobile app, social media and even your offline presence. Will you sell more ketchup in your grocery store if you put a few bottles near some hot dog buns?
2. Establish your success factor first
In the case of an ecommerce site, do you want to test the conversion rate on sale, the generated total income, the average income per purchase or maybe the increase in purchases of a particular product?
