Adobe After Affects or Apple Motion Project: Bouncing Ball Sing-along

Client Background: I don't know anything about Adobe After Affects or Apple Motion but I learn quickly. Project: I would like an Adobe After Affects or Apple Motion (which ever one is easiest to create, maintain, and modify) template created so that I can easily add a video, add line-by-line lyrics (Sing-along style), have a bouncing ball follow the lyrics as the song is being sung, and export the video. In addition I would like excellent documentation that I can use when I need to create a new video and have to manipulate the bouncing ball timing. I will be making many sing-along videos in the future so I'd like it to be a simple task as possible. The Youtube video below is an example of technically what Im trying to achieve.
