CG/VFX Artist for Short Film

Hello Thank you for responding to our VFX / CGI post, I know it has been a few weeks but if you are still available I wanted to give/get some more information to see if we would be a good match. As a director, this is my first time working with special effects in post-production, so I am very open to working with the artist to create effects that are realistic in scope while adding the most to the story, and would love to hear suggestions. Our main needs center around a meteor cutting across the sky, the sun being blocked out by clouds, the moon turning red, and the actress being raised into the air - which was done practically as well. “The Cleansing” is a short film I shot as my Honors senior project, we have been slowly finishing all the other post work while raising funds for VFX. However, even though we have a small budget, I have a lot of respect VFX artists and will do all I can to compensate fairly. Please let me know your rate, or a cost estimate with the materials I have included. Also if you would like the entire film to get a better idea of the story please let me know. Most shots were filmed at 1080p prores 444XQ on a Blackmagic Ursa 4K, with the exception of the first and last shots which were done in 4.6k raw on the Blackmagic Ursa Mini 4.6k. The bulk of the effects for film are based off the 7 horns of the apocalypse (while that sounds daunting, actually very little is depicted in the film).
