I need an excel macro expert .I have one master product file. This file can have between 100 to over 30,000 rows. The product file has many columns of data.
Each product is repeated between 1 time to 20 times in excel file. The way you can find how many times a product is repeated is by checking, when the product title in column D changes. Whenever the title in column D changes, it means a new product started.
1) I need you to first calculate, how many times each product is repeated (different variations) based on the product title (column D).
2) Then you need fill in column AX for size based on following principle:-
a) If a product is repeated 5 or less times, then the size should be: 5,6,7,8,9
For example if a product is repeated 4 times, then the size should be 5,6,7,8
b) If a product is repeated more than 5 times, then the size should start from 4 then go on as 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9 etc
It is important to note that only way you can find if there is a new product, is by checking when the product title changes in column D. Everytime there is a new title, it means it is start of a new product. Product titles might repeat again later, but it will be counted as a new product.
3a) Then you need to create a new excel file, only consisting of 1 unique product per row, remove all the multiple times the product data was repeated
3b) Then you need to download the primary image of each product and save it locally in the folder, the primary image is found in column Z. Each image should be renamed based on Column C.
This all should be done via macro. Each time I run the macro in the main file, then the above actions should be repeated.
