Good afternoon,
I am looking for someone that is creative to help build/code my shopify website for my small home business. I am looking for a clean, organized, professional but personal, modern chic look to my page.
My business is called Ellie & Co., and I specialize in home decor and retail items. All items are handcrafted so I am looking for the best way to showcase them. I am not limited to only wooden works, but that is my most popular request. Most of these items are wooden signs, 3D raised lettering/shapes, door hangers, etc. Right now, these are custom made or personalized orders. I spend a lot of time talking back and forth with customers to creating their designs digitally on my Silhouette Studio software. Currently, I screenshot the design and send it via Facebook messenger.
I would like my website to incorporate options for customers to choose and view view their fonts to save time on my part. I have tons of fonts, but I do not want to give to many options. I find that it overwhelms the customer when they have to many choices in this area. Also, if there was a way for them to be able to view added details to their order such as different shapes (round/rectangle/etc), ship lap, colors, and so on. It would save me a lot of time of the designing aspect if my customers are able to build their order digitally and then the specification be all laid out for me to start the physical work of their order. I have purchased a few mockup photos, so it would be ideal if customers could pick which mockup photo best applies to them and then have their custom order they designed displayed on it. I feel like having a more realistic look to the digital proof really gives the customer a full grasp of what their item will look like. I saw this idea on another Shopify website, and I can provide the link to give a full idea of this concept if needed. I want the order process for custom and personalized items to be easy and straightforward to customers.
My Facebook page and group and Instagram are where I currently advertise my business. I would like to have direct links to these accounts on my page. In addition, Facebook messenger is my most used form of communication with customer. I do have an email associated with my business, but I would like a way to directly message my Facebook business page from the website. I currently receive payment and send out invoices through Paypal. I would like to change this to be directly through my website, but have a way for customers to use Paypal, credit cards, and other popular forms of payment on my website. I have photos of my work that I can provide for listing.
In the near future I would like to offer pre-made items from my shop and use commentsold through Facebook and Shopify. So I would like my item listing to be organized and easy to access. I would then like a section for custom order forms as described above. I can provide categories for my listing to organized my items if needed. In addition, want to add a policy and pricing, reviews displayed left by customers on my Facebook page, and a place where customers can leave reviews on Shopify (ideally those would be in the same location) an about me section to my website.
I can provide my logo, item pictures, policy, pricing, about me, ect.
I have a few questions. What would the price quote be for this build? I am not familiar with the physically building of a website, so I am not sure if shopify has a theme with my request in it or if it would be something I would need coded. Also, my business is growing very rapidly and as I get new ideas for my website in the future would I be able to add changes easily or will I need to pay someone each time? Lastly, Most of my fonts are free fonts downloaded to my computer from the website DaFont. Will i able able to use these for my font view option for customers or will I need to get something different?
