I am looking to build a video chat website which allows a user to chat with other people based on select criteria. The primary purpose of this site will be to video chat 1 on 1 with random (within your search criteria) users. The user will also be able to create an account, define a user profile and decide on their level of membership. Front-end should be minimal.
I would expect the video chat to use WebRTC for quality and cross browser platform compatibility. The signalling server will need to be extensible for future user matchmaking criteria. Future use of the server might be used for a video chat mobile app as well.
