Website Content Writer to redesign company's website

The Content Writer will work closely with the CEO and the leadership team to the creating the content for the company’s most valuable digital asset – a brand new company website.
• Attend brainstorming session via videoconference that will be conducted the week of December 10. During this session we will create a metaphor/theme for the new website, wireframe, and page map. The page map will list every page that will be included in the website, and two to four points that must be conveyed on each page. Through participation in the brainstorming session you will gain an understanding of the company’s business, the audiences for the website, and the writing style we are seeking for the website.
• Write original content for each page that tells the story of our company. The writing style must be fun and energetic, yet professional. It must convey the urgency of business and importance of profitability. We anticipate that there will be about 30 pages of content.
• The audience for the website is global, but most of our clients are in the US. The content must be compelling for current and future clients, as well as current and future employees.
• After writing the original content, work with CEO to produce the final content.
Candidates will be asked to submit writing samples and content created for other websites.
Required Skills:
• Experience in original content creation for business websites
• Ability to write clearly for an American and global audience
• Strong business acumen to quickly understand our business and then present it to the audience in a story format
• Ability to write in a style that is engaging, fun and energetic, and professional
• Demonstrated expertise in creating engaging story style content
• Ability to execute effectively against projects deadlines, take initiative and anticipate needs, with a strong attention to detail
• Experience and familiarity with the recruiting industry is a major plus
Candidates will be asked to submit writing samples and content created for other websites.
Compensation:
• Hourly rate based on experience. Total project is estimated to be about 50 hours.
