Klaus Weghaus is a highly experienced professional with extensive knowledge in international project management and purchasing. He has served more than nine years within a Global Automotive OEM in Product Development and Purchasing and was senior member of the management team. During that time he has worked closely with Tier1 and Tier2 suppliers in the global markets and has successfully introduced new processes and tools to improve the performance of both the OEM and supplier base. Klaus has extensive experience in procurement strategies and supplier sourcing, supplier evaluation, development and monitoring, customer & competitor analysis, project and time management. He now serves as the director of Rhenus Consulting in Australia which is a management consultancy with a particular expertise in procurement, purchasing and supply chain management matters.
