I earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh but I never worked in that field. I decided that it was better to get the complete degree and use it as a foundation for whatever I could. I feel that at the very least, I still use some of the analytical skills required for an Engineering degree. I have always been a programmer since I was a kid. Some 23 years ago, I wrote my first program on an Atari 400 computer that had only 4kb of RAM. Since that time, I have learned a lot about many different programming languages as they evolved. The web has become my latest sandbox for programming. In the last year, I have created a successful website that has over a million pages of dynamically generated content. The site is earning me a continual source of income and continues to grow in popularity - currently ranking in the top 150,000 websites according to Alexa. My biggest fault is wanting to satisfy every possible desire that a user might need; spending a bit more time than needed for functionality that may never be used.
