I have completed my graduation in Literature in English followed by a Masters in the same. Both the programmes have been from the University of Delhi, India. This academic background and a keen interest in academic research, writing and editing are coupled with my passion for writing. I have gone through the process of in-depth research in a few agendas and got two academic papers published in two of the UGC approved journals. This winter, I have interned at the Partition Museum, Amritsar. One of my primary responsibilities has been researching and content curation which has prepared me to work closely with the other departments. Currently, I am interning with Bookchor, Literary Solutions Pvt Ltd. where I create and curate content for social media and blog posts.

Dalit autobiographies as narratives of resistance

The paper investigates the relevance of Dalit autobiographies in identity formation and self- assertion and how these writings do not just provide an alternative political/ economic/social history of India but also catalog a history of Indian emotions that is inclusive of discrimination, negligence, rage, resistance and retaliation and many other social evils.

Nationalization of a language

The paper attempts to trace the development of modern Hindi language and its subsequent standardization of vocabulary and orthography, first initiated by the British perception of the nation being devoid of a national language and later appropriated by the Hindu nationalists as the language of the Hindus with vast territorial, ideological and religious aspirations from the mid 19thc.\ all inter-linked to the emerging ideas of nationalism.
