Since march 2012 I worked in a startup ([login to view URL]) with two amazing human beings both with excellent backgrounds in IT domain. Our solution was designed to improve how customers interact with businesses and provide businesses with insights about their customers.
During the startup I grew as a person and IT professionist. To better highlight my skills I will write briefly about the tasks which helped me to achive those skills.
In the first stages of the project I was heavily involved in building the real time communication infrastructure (based on XMPP, it involved all the actors in a real time environment clients, severs, components).
After communication was in place I wrote code for both frontend and backend. On frontend I used HTML5, CSS3 & Backbone. And on server-side C# with EntityFramework for data access).
In order to provide a tool for business to reply quick to customers questions, we developed an Android application. ( it was written in HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript using Mosync SDK) and I was involved.
As the product grew bigger and needed more computing power we migrated the application from a business shared hosting to Azure.
Other activities in this startup involved task scheduling, testing & debugging, UI design, integration with SMS providers like Nexmo, Twillio, basic linux administration, Azure cloud service and IPsec tunneling.
My english level is B2 (europen scale, certified by university foreign language department, with better talking than writting skills)
I like to keep a good and sincere communication with my client and to listen carefully to his needs. And always surpass his expectations because my greatest reward is when the customer is telling me a sincere "Thank you".
If you need a guy with experience in various areas of IT you got one here. :)
This is my current expertise, if you have time and interest you can read below how I started my journey in IT,
The journey started 6 years ago, when I was in highschool and fall in love with Borland Pascal. Then I was attracted by the beautiful animations made in Flash, so I learned how to use Flash Professional 2004 & Photoshop and code in AS 2.0. Using this skills I earned my first money as a freelancer on GetAFreelancer (now Freelancer).
After a period I realized that Flash was not enough If I wanted to be a good web developer so I added to my toolbox HTML, CSS and a little bit of Javascript. With this skill set I got my first job as web master when I finished highschool.
To sharpen my skills I followed the software & hardware courses of Technical University of Cluj Napoca. Following this courses I learned a lot about how to plan, execute and document projects. Programming in several programming styles (including functional & logic), taking a various range of courses (from OS administration to networking and OOP programming) helped me to have a wider view.
For one month I was intern at Evoline, Cluj Napoca where I meet one of the co-founders of the startup I was talking above.
Long story short, if you have some work, I am willing to know you and ready to start. :)
