Leadership ability to cascade vision, objectives, and goals within the planning function including supplying support, mentoring and development of planning staff.
Understanding of engineering and construction functions and essential interfaces between these and other asset stakeholder groups. Expertise in planning processes to support effective delivery of these.
Good communications skills with a positive attitude and willingness to challenge decisions and offer advice and direction where required. Ability to form relationships with Client, Facilities contractors, subcontractors and vendors to provide effective co-ordination of planning and project status inputs from all project participants.
Implementation of a continuous improvement philosophy across the project engineering function, delivering best practices at all times.
Interface with project stakeholders and project commissioning planning process to ensure effective systems handover on completion.
