I am an Sr. Motor Control Engineer, PhD.
My research line covers the vector control topic of electrical machines: induction machines, permanent-magnet synchronous machines, and synchronous reluctance machines.
His main acts are developing:
Design, develop, test, and validate the motor control algorithm in laboratory, dynamo
testbed system focus on R&D the control algorithms for industrial drives;
• Support to work with both Hardware and Embedded Software Engineers in order to
design and manufactory industrial drive from concept phase to the end product phase;
• Responsible for developing, implementing, and designing new solutions for the
industrial drive applications;
• Develop motor control functions for types of motor, such as PMSM, IPM, IM, and
SRM;
• Develop requirements for motor control algorithms according to the system
application;
• Developing model, simulation, and analysis tools to solve motor control problems
using Simulink-MATLAB toolbox;
• Developing strategies for auxiliary functions used in scalar/vector control as: RideThrough, Flying Start and Stall Current/DC Voltage Prevent;
• Developing strategies for Inverter Thermal Management to prevent IGBT damage.
• Developing strategies for self-commissioning of induction machines (IM), permanent
magnet (PMSM) and synchronous reluctance machine (SynRM);
• Developing strategies for encoder/sensorless control of IM, PMSM, and SynRM;
• Developing strategies to determine the initial rotor position of PMSM and SynRM;
• Developing strategies to determine on-line the maximum efficiency of the system from
the energy-saving and MTPA functions;
• Developing strategies for PWM modulation: SVPWM, DPWM, Variation Fsw PWM;
• Developing strategies to damp the electromechanical oscillations presents in the
system operating at low speed;
