I have done MBBS in the year2007 and I did my house job in BAHAWAL VICTORIA HOSPITAL,BAHAWALPUR which is a 1410 bedded teaching hospital affiliated with Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur Pakistan having all facilities of radio diagnostic studies including X-rays, USG,CT- scan, MRI and routine biochemical and other laboratory tests. During my house job in Obstetrics & Gynae Ward, I learned basics of management of all types of emergencies related to the ward . The procedures which I performed in Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ward are as followed; 1. IV line maintenance 2. To pass Foley's catheter 3. Per Vaginal Examination 4. Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery 5. to stitch episiotomy 6. assisted cesarean section 7. assisted vaginal &abdominal hysterectomy 8. D&C 9. Antenatal checkup 10. postnatal checkup 11. pre-op &post-op management 12. management of eclampsia PAEDIATRICS WARD During my house job in Paediatrics ward,I learned basics of management of all types of emergencies related to paeds ward & performed various procedures as followed; 1. IV line maintenance in New Borns, Premature babies,and older children 2. to pass foley's catheter in babies with renal diseases 3. CSF drainage for various examination 4. umbilical vein catheterization 5. arterial tap 6. Bone Marrow aspiration 7. Blood transfusion 8. phototherapy for Jaundice 9. management of all types of paediatric diseases 10. EPI vaccination schedule 11. lumber puncture 12. peritoneal tap 13. pleural tap Currently I am working as a lecturer/demonstrator of Anatomy department in Al-Nafees Medical College, ISRA university campus ,Islamabad attached with 300 bedded hospital with emergency section, OPD and indoors and modern operation theaters.
