Good and bad review follows. I believe dub125 is a very capable programmer. dub125 was unable to complete the task, but it's a task that most likely can't be done given current technology. dub125 responded quickly, tried his best (and did a lot of research on the subject), and was very professional and friendly throughout our interaction. The only problem I have is the following: I had posted a project detailing the work required; dub125 placed a bid on the project and assured me he could complete it within a day. Based on our communication immediately after I accepted his bid, it became clear that he had not read the project details, though he stated he could successfully complete the project within 24 hours. (Here's an analogy: let's say I post a project looking for someone to make me a pizza, and dub125 places a bid saying he can complete the job in a day, and then I accept his bid based on this assurance, and his first message to me after is, "So you want me to make you a sandwich?") Because he had assured me he could complete the project without knowing what the project was, accepting his bid wasted my time (and his, since by bidding and being accepted he was locked into trying to solve a problem that most likely can't be solved just yet). I believe dub125 is a VERY capable programmer, and simply knowing the project details before bidding should result in him being a very successful freelancer here.
