Structural analysis of hydraulic piston cylinder assembly

The hydraulic system is mostly used when the power requirement is high. The system is comparatively too large for light load hydraulic operations. The paper represents the use of hydraulic piston-cylinder assembly for lifting the light load. The whole structure dimensions and design is considered as per the loading conditions. The structural and linear buckling analysis has been successfully completed for the structure design.

Misalignment can apply to a single piece of rotating equipment with a bent shaft or a straight shaft forced to rotate in three or more bearings which are not co axially aligned. In this paper a survey is made of the various types of misalignment often encountered in rotating machinery and the vibration characteristics which arise due to these misalignment are examined. In particular lateral, axial and angular coupling misalignment will be studied as a function of flexible coupling vibration.
