I am a civil engineer specialized in structural engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Our consultancy is providing services related to advanced structural analysis and design of structures (linear or non-linear) subjected to both quasi-static and dynamics loads. Some of the projects undertaken by us include steel and RCC buildings, steel latticed TV tower, weighing bridge, Glass fiber reinforced buildings etc. Our project delivery mode includes building information modelling (BIM) development of our engineered designs in appropriate software for our clients. Our core expertise is in: (a) Estimating loads emanating from seismic, wind and blast actions on civil structures, (b) Mitigation methods, and (c) Thereupon estimating the design forces in structures using advanced finite element techniques for structural design. We do provide extensive calculation sheets to our client for documentation. The software we use are: SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and ABAQUS.

Factors Influencing Design Iteration with a Focus on Project Duration

Researchers have identified the dependency structure matrix (DSM) as a potential tool to explicitly identify iteration blocks and to evaluate the resulting sequence. Factors such as duration of activity, duration of rework, location of feedback variables, size of block, and number of loops within a block influence the overall duration of a project. The present study traces a pattern underlying the behavior of the block in evaluating the execution sequence. To achieve this objective, a database is generated
