To be submited
[To be submited]The achieved results, with near real-time processing, exhibit tremendous possible applications such as surveillance, computer vision, robot vision and even for manufacture and assembly industry. The methodology can achieve real-time processing.
Movement Detection and Moving Object Distinction Based on Optical Flow for a Surveillance System
Springer ITET
The method was successful detecting and distinguishing moving objects in different types of image datasets, including datasets obtained from moving cameras. This extended version contemplates more results obtained, using the demonstrated methodology, with other datasets.
Generating Individual Gait Kinetic Patterns Using Machine Learning
Springer
The presented strategy may be used to support individual gait clinical analysis as an alternative to the use of the normal literature pattern that do not take into account the specific characteristics of the patients.
Hand Exercise Using a Haptic Device
Springer
... In this work four different types of controllers are compared: proportional, proportional-derivative and logarithmic and sigmoid function based controllers. Each one of the used controllers were tested with the hand exercises mentioned. The sigmoid and logarithmic function based controllers achieves more suitable results for the user haptic perception and trajectory follow-up.
Movement Detection and Moving Object Distinction Based on Optical Flow
WCE IAENG 2019
Detection of moving objects in sequences of images is an important research field, with applications for surveillance, tracking and object recognition among others. An algorithm to estimate motion in video image sequences, with moving object distinction and differentiation, is proposed.
