As an associate in a small litigation firm, I have extensive legal experience. This experience has ranged from attending depositions and mediations to motions practice in state and federal court. I have also been responsible for an appeal before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and obtained a not guilty verdict in a criminal bench trial. I have extensive technical writing and legal research experience.
As a United States Marine, I learned lessons in hard work, dedication, and leadership that have transferred to every endeavor I have attempted. Elon University School of Law recognized these traits when they inducted me into the inaugural class of Leadership Fellows. I have taken advantage of this opportunity by using my abilities to influence others to shape and influence the program from its inception in a manner that I hope will carry on in perpetuity. My peers have also acknowledged my academic abilities and dedication through my selection to the editorial board of the Elon Law Review as the Book Review Editor.
