- Duties include PHP / MySQL development of http://www.didx.net back-end custom billing and accounting solution for high-volume e-commerce and credit card transaction processing. Used the XML API and PayPal Checkout for credit cards, and custom PHP 5 code for user maintenance. - Using phpED & PHPStrom as IDE / Debugger to quickly learn the very complex Zend Framework (considered the premier open-source framework) to extend the existing base classes, allowing me to create new modules. - Construct, develop and maintain Web applications using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. - Resolve technical queries of customers regarding API integration, and other issues. - Plan, design, develop, debug, implement and support web-based applications. - Modify existing software to: correct errors, allow it to function in new operating environments, or improve performance. - Adhere to and recommend improvements to project coding standards. - Develop and maintain MySQL databases. - Improve software quality by conducting system analysis, and recommend changes. Servers Troubleshooting / Maintenance - Resolution of issues occurs on web, database and API servers. - Distribute sites across servers in response to demand. - Manage website migrations, URL Redirect management. - Ensure replication of data, tables, records occur between slave and master database server. - Ensure server administration and maintenance, data backup and recovery, security administration, system repairs, and configuration changes.
