In my school going days, I took pleasure in writing imaginative stories as a youngster. Teachers and friends cherished my work, and urged me on often suggesting freelance writing as a career option to consider upon leaving school. As time dawned into the scary world of work and responsible adulthood, the creativity within me seems to never cease and I often find myself turning back to what I know for inspiration and from which I make my living writer–Freelance writing.
My writing career started in earnest, but has come to fruition with me making contributions to various local publications for the last four years. It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword. I therefore use written Literature as a weapon to capture readers’ minds, paying a perfectionist’s attention to detail in the manner in which every sentence sounds, looks and feels, seeking to employ all the elements of artful propaganda and intellectual persuasion, careful to select the right words to express what needs to be, making them see through my vision as a writer and very intriguing, capture the reader’s attention to continue reading till the death of the article, the last breath being the last word written.
Leading a professional life lock, stock and barrel as a freelance writer, I go about my work independent-minded, tackling topics grounded in the real world; fit and appropriate, in tone, content and style, and which are highly researched, written to the highest technical standards I can achieve for the commissioning publication and their audience, always delivered on time. However, regardless of the dryness of a commissioned topic, I write with passion and am confident in my ability to contend with any subject and make it appealing and intriguing to readers.
I take great pride within myself producing written word content across a broad spectrum of markets whether in traditional print media or for the Internet. Writing is a huge driving force and a great passion in my life; in this respect I feel fulfilled with freelance writing as a profession that I have chosen which allows me to continually explore the world and what it has to offer.
