User Layer
User Interface (UI): The point of interaction for users to input personal information and event descriptions.
Authentication: Manages user sign-in, ensuring that users are who they say they are.
Local Storage: A secure place on the user's device where profile data is stored. No user data leaves this local environment unless necessary for application functionality.
Application Layer
Profile Creation Model: This on-device model processes user information to create profiles.
Event Description Model: Another on-device model that structures event data into a standardized format.
Matching Engine: This engine runs locally, using user profile and event information to identify potential matches.
Decentralized Communication Layer
Matrix Client: The interface that communicates with the Matrix network.
Dendrite Nodes: Part of the Matrix infrastructure that enables decentralized communication. These nodes communicate with each other to synchronize data without a central server.
Chat Room Creation
Matrix Bot: After a match is found, this bot component handles the creation of a Matrix chat room.
Chat Room: A communication channel created for matched users to interact in. The bot will leave the room once both parties join, ensuring privacy.
Data Flow Sequence
Users interact with the UI on their devices to provide information.
The Profile and Event Models process this data locally.
The Matching Engine checks for event-user compatibility based on profiles and events stored in Local Storage.
When a match is found, a Matrix bot is notified.
The bot broadcasts the match to the Dendrite Nodes.
If both users agree to connect, the bot initiates a chat room creation on the Matrix network.
The bot invites both users to the chat room and exits upon their joining. (example is in the attached file)
