Create robust Angular2 code and add features to an on-going project

We have started building a platform with another front-end developer but the relationship soured. He was the only team member with experience in Angular 2 and unfortunately created some spaghetti code that we need an experienced developer to fix. There is already an established back-end API that is feeding content to the front-end and an iPhone App that is in development. You will not need to work on the back-end or the App, simply just the front-end code for the website. We do want to port some of the App features like displaying locations onto a Google Map and adding a very simple Shopping Cart feature. If this is done successfully, then we will most likely hire you to continue adding features and maintaining the site.
The project will require you are familiar with Angular 2. The API is hosted with Azure and requires familiarity with the usual GitHub setup. We create tasks within a ticket system, so you can see work to be done and submit your response. We are on Slack to chat through issues, so need someone who has good communication skills (English). The project is already online and after a brief introduction to other team members, we can show you all the documentation and explain the API.
If you are interested you can either work on this project a few hours per week, or we can set each feature to be implemented as a small project that will be paid upon completion. We aren't looking for a Ninja, but more likely an honest person who can help make this project work.
