C++ - hiding files in GIF and JPG (steganography)(repost)

write program in C++ (if possible - using borland c++ builder 6.0) which hides files in GIF and JPG without changing it (steganography). Program should also extract hidden data from these files.
Code should be written with comments which help me understand it.

JPG:
hiding in jpg could be done by putting data after EOF marker. however, if You know some other method which can be used instead of this - just let me know.
